SPECIAL MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT! Minimize

We have something very special planned for the December NMUG meeting!

First, we  will meet at 7 PM on Tuesday, December 2nd instead of our usual Thursday.

We have made arrangements with the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science to have a presentation and guided tour of “STARTUP – Albuquerque and the Personal Computer Revolution”.  This is a fabulous exhibit which presents the history of personal computing.  Did you know that Microsoft was actually founded here in Albuquerque?

The museum is located at 1801 Mountain Road NW, which is right near Old Town.  See the map below.

This will be a very special meeting, and families and children are invited and encouraged to attend.

However, because of the expense to NMUG, and because seating is limited, we are asking you to please RSVP to reserve your place at the meeting.  There is a charge of $5.00 per family for members, which will help offset some of the costs involved.  Non-members are also welcome, but the cost will be $30, which includes you NMUG membership.  Seating is limited, and it’s first come, first served, so hurry and send an email to our Treasurer, Bob McCarthy (bob.mccarthy@nmug.net) to guarantee your seats.

If you have questions, please contact either me – Tom Murdock  (tom.murdock@nmug.net)  or Bob McCarthy  (bob.mccarthy@nmug.net).

We look forward to seeing you, and meeting your family, on Tuesday December 2nd.
